St Catherine's School Pupils Create Mosaics for Rye House Station

Pupils from St Catherine's School, Hoddesdon have been working with the New River Line Community Rail Partnership and artist Donna Reeves on an exciting community art project to create a series of colourful mosaics for Rye House Station.

The project gave students the opportunity to develop new artistic skills and contribute to enhancing their local railway station. Working together, the pupils designed and crafted unique mosaic artworks that reflect the character of the local area and bring a welcoming splash of colour to the station environment.

The mosaics will be installed at Rye House Station, helping to create a more attractive and engaging space for passengers while celebrating the talents of local young people.

The New River Line Community Rail Partnership would like to thank the pupils and staff at St Catherine's School for their enthusiasm, creativity and hard work. The project is a wonderful example of how community partnerships can bring people together and foster pride in local places.

We look forward to seeing the finished mosaics on display and sharing them with station users for years to come.
